The western military operations against Muammar Gaddafi, already hamstrung by differences within Nato, African opposition and uncertain backing from the Arab League, faced new challenges today with Republicans questioning the legality of US participation in what amounts to war.French President Nicolas Sarkozy and US counterpart Barack Obama have agreed on how NATO's will be used to support the coalition in Libya.

In the latest fighting on Tuesday, Gaddafi's tanks shelled the rebel-held western town of Misrata and casualties included four children killed when their car was hit, residents said, adding the death toll for Monday alone had reached forty..... Gaddafi forces also were trying to seize the western rebel-held town of Zintan in an attack using heavy weapons, and one resident said ten people were killed on Tuesday, the 22nd of March 2011.The residents have painted a grim picture of the situation in Misrata which has been under siege by Gaddafi loyalists for weeks, with doctors operating on people with bullet and shrapnel wounds in hospital corridors and tanks in the city centre. In the first apparent air force casualty of the campaign, a US F-15E crashed in Libya overnight and its two crew members were rescued, the US military said. The crash was likely caused by mechanical failure and not hostile fire, it was proclaimed. Explosions and anti-aircraft rounds rang out around Tripoli for a third time overnight, and Libyan state television said several sites in the capital had come under attack by what it called the crusader enemy.Let us wish and pray that on going war in and settled down amicably through the process of negotiations amongst themselves and very hopefully urged to other countries wth humble request not poke their nose in Libya enternal matters and leave unto Libyans to sort themout amicably!

A write-up on Japan's crisis as flashed on the f.b. on March 23,2011

The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) also raised concerns about lack of information from Japanese authorities, as workers battling to cool the nuclear reactors faced rising temperatures around the core of one reactor. James Lyons, a senior official of the IAEA had briefed to the Press in Vienna on the 22nd of March 2011 that they continue to see radiation from the site but still from where it s coming is unknown. In spite of hopes of progress in the world’s worst nuclear crisis in a quarter of a century, triggered by an earthquake and tsunami that left at least twenty one thousand people dead or missing, plant operator Tokyo Electric Power Co (Tepco) said it needed more time before it could say the reactors were stabilized. Senior IAEA official Graham Andrew said that the overall situation remained very serious and that the UN atomic watchdog was concerned it had not received some information from Japan about the Fukushima nuclear plant that they are trying to collect and hope for the best. The IAEA also lacks data on the temperatures of the spent fuel pools of Reactors 1, 3 and 4, he said, though Japan was supplying other updates. Technicians working inside an evacuation zone around the plant on Japan’s northeast Pacific coast, two hundred fifty km north of Tokyo, have attached power cables to all six reactors and started a pump at one to cool overheating nuclear fuel rods.Let us join to pray for all the best to our brorhers and sisters in Japan who are in the state of grief and turmoil due to the severe earthquake & tsunami that Japan had suffered on March 11,2011 that took toll of over twenty thousand People and many were left homeless and penniless due to that great natual calamity!

Libya is seemingly faicing global war as flashed on the fd.b. on March 20,2011.

Libiya is facing global war because of defying international demands for an immediate ceasefire, and France's U.N. envoy predicted military action within hours of an international meeting on Libya on the 19th of March 2011

Gadaffi had pushed his troops on the outskirts of Benghazi, the second city in an attempt to western air strikes.France has opened war with Libiya by launching air strikes whereas US. has already fired hundred missiles on Libiya. Gadaffi has... promised to provide arms to his countrymen to fight against war. Had Gadaffi acted wisely and honoured international demands, such ugly situation could have been averted as war is no solution to a problem. France is being supported by U.S.,Britain,Canada and backed by Arab nations. If war continues, Libiya may be be reduced to ashes and will face great castrophy and losses. So, wise step for Gaddafi in wide interest of his nation ought to be to step down from his high office and surrender and request for halt of all operations going on against his nation in war fare.

Japan suffered much due to earthquake & tsunami as flashed on the f.b. on March 20,2011.

Bishwa Nath Singh:
In the Fukushima Daiichi plant of Japan three explosions had occurred that have caused alarm that the reactors may release radioactive emissions into the atmosphere. The reactors have a core consisting of fuel rods which, on the nuclear re...action, emit heat. The heat is used to generate steam, which runs a turbine and generates electricity. Though, they have been trying to cool it but still success in full has not been achieved though their experts and engineers are struggling hard to prevent release of radioactive emissions into the atmosphere. Let us pray for their success in their venture!

My thought for the day as envisaged & flashed by me on the f.b. of March20,,2011.

At this moment, my entire prayers go to the earth quake & tsunami victims in Japan with a hope that the Almighty God will give them courage and sufficient means to meet any eventualities that come across in their life on the path of peace and progress. Secondly, I hasten to convey my heartiest greetings to all living-being of this universe on the very auspicious eve of Holi-a festival of color.
