Valentine Day will be celebrated all over the world on the 14th of February. It is a day to express one’s love, and to celebrate the spirit of love. One must resolve to love others and help those who are poor ,mentally retarded, leper and destitute whom the societies have disowned as what Mother Teresa had done at Calcutta about forty years or so ago in case of lepers, mentally retarded people and destitute. It would be unfair on our part, if we don’t pay our respectful homage to Pastor Saint Valentine who laid his life for the sake of promoting love amongst people many hundred years ago. Let us commemorate his memories by helping poor and destitute on this eve and love that are dear and close to our heart!

i respect your thought but it is a naked truth that now a days this day has become the day only of boyfriends and girlfriends. Young generation is not taking interest in celebrating this day also for poor, mentally retarded, leper and destitute whom the societies have disowned.no gift shop has the gift entitled 'happy Valentine Day' for them.
