Around five thousand years ago, King Ugrasen had ruled the small Indian village of Mathura. He was loved ·
by all of his people, and raised two very fine children, Kans and Devki. As his children grew older, they both went their own ways. Kans jailed his father, and was the new King of Mathura. He still loved his sister, Devki, with a lot of heart, and got her married to an army officer, called Vasudev.

Bishwa Nath Singh :
It's my most favourite Prayer to Lord Krishna whose beauty and smartness are very popular worldwide.Lord Krishna had preached Warrior Prince Arjuna amidst battle field of Kurkshetra who had prophesised himself to be God.The Bhagavad-gita is... the famous discourse that took place between Lord Krishna and the warrior Arjuna, just before the onset of the great Bharata War (c. 3138 BC).The Bhagavad-gita originally appears as an episode in the Sixth Book of the Mahabharata (Bhismaparvan, 23-40). In this of 700 verses, Lord Krishna shows how each Vedic dharma directs a person toward the ultimate, the "most confidential of a...ll knowledge." He discusses the yogas of work, meditation, and knowledge. Krishna shows how it leads to the "most secrets of all secrets, " pure loving devotional service to God. "Always think of Me and become My devotee. Worship Me and offer you, homage unto Me." This, Krishna says is "the most confidential part of knowledge.
