I know another, and a very peculiar case. When his father expired, his son, an NRI living in US and married to a local American girl, came to India and after the funeral rites asked his mother to accompany him. Ultimately, he sold the prope...rty, and went with his mother to Mumbai Airport on their way to the States.
He took her to the cafeteria, ordered coffee for them, and told her that he will check about their tickets.
Then he got into his flight and left for the US leaving his pennyless mother sitting and waiting.
This lady is now in an Old People's Home.
