The concept of friendship as described and flashed by me on the f.b. on Jan.8,2011.

We often talk of friend and friendship without going in depth its meaning and significance attached to each other. Let us ponder over it and have a glimpse on it as appended below! The friendship that existed in between Lord Krishna and Sudama and eternal love in between Lord Krishna and his childhood friend Radha are well known mythological stories to all of us which are cited as an example of true friendship that existed in between them must be eye-opener to all of us.

‎@ Anil Ji! On reaching Mathura, Sudama was astonished to know that Lord Krishna had blessed his family with plenty of wealth without even telling him as he had not asked for it. Lord Krishna depicted it clearly that wealth and status never... decides the fate of a relation. Friendship when done should be carried out with love, care and respect. He even proved the well-know idiom that a friend in need is a friend indeed. Sudama is an example of sakhya rasa because he had entrusted himself to Lord Krishna with full love though his friend was rich he didn't demand for help, but maintained his self respect and showed that friendship is a mutual understanding not a relation of demands.
