Bishwa Nath Singh :
Japanese authorities have been working desperately to avert a meltdown, compounding a nuclear catastrophe caused by Friday the 11th of Mach 2011 very unfortunately with massive quake and tsunami. The core container was intact as revealed by... the plant operator, Tokyo Electric Power Co, with the help of the local government had warned those still in the twenty km evacuation zone to stay inside the closed doors in their house. Japanese Govt has officially asked the UN nuclear watchdog the IAEA for sending experts immediately to help in the current nuclear crisis.Tokyo Electric has been busy in pumping water into Daiichi No.2 unit to cover rodsThe devastating earthquake and tsunami in Japan will rank among the costliest natural disasters on record as rightly confessed by various experts. Rolling power outages have begun with many still without water, food and fuel About two thousand bodies were reportedly found on the shore in Miyagi prefecture Tokyo Electric says fuel rods at Daiichi No. 2 unit exposed again.Japan's crippled coastline doesn't get worse than this as confessed by International Red Cross Federation. A real sad and heartbroken are the scenes of devastation in Japan, US President Barack Obama has rightly announced that the US will stand with Japan in the difficult days ahead. US engineering giant General Electric, which supplied reactors to Japan's stricken Fukushima No. 1 nuclear plant, says it is going to donate $5 million to relief efforts. As per the US geological survey, there have been 38 earthquakes in Japan on Monday the 14th of March 2011 The aftermath of the catastrophic earthquake in Japan worsened on Tuesday, the 15th of March 2011 with fears of the spread of radioactive materials becoming a reality following apparent hydrogen blasts at reactors at the Fukushima No. 1 nuclear plant. The number of casualties following last Friday the 11th of March 2011 earthquake magnitude of 9.0 also climbed, with nearly ten thousand dead and many found missing five days after the quake. Over thousand of people are injured going under treatment and many have become homeless and lost everything. Massive relief measures are required though the Govt of Japan is doing its best to bring the situation to normalcy though situation overall are alarming. We have full faith in Japanese People as whole who will certainly rise to meet all eventualities!
