My thought for the day as envisaged & flashed by me on the f.b. of March 12,,2011.

One has no right to be called saint unless his/her entire actions are godly.

Bishwa Nath Singh :
It's my thought for the day that I would like to share with everybody with a request that one should maintain distance with all those who are robbers in garb of saints looting away wealth of charitable trust. Here is the Photograph of a great saint A.C Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada, founder of Iskcon who has been a philosopher, scholar, saint and Swami -all combine in him.A.C Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada, philosopher, scholar, saint and Swami had set out for America on August 13th 1965 days before his sixty ninth birthday to see what could be done. With a free passage from a local steamship company, he traveled as the only passenger on board a small weathered cargo ship, named Jaladuta. In possession he had an umbrella, a supply of dry cereal about seven dollars worth of Indian rupees, and several boxes of books. When the Jaladuta arrived in New York thirty-seven days later Swami Bhaktivedanta was totally alone. He had come to America knowing no one, without any clear means of support; he carried on boards the ship only a handful of possessions. He had no friends, money, followers and not his youthful age and good health. He didn’t even have a clear idea of how he could accomplish his mission – to present the spiritual knowledge of the Vedas to the western world and in turn to the entire world.Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupad expressed the faith he had in his spiritual master and in Lord Krishna as it is revealed in a poem he wrote in Bengla Language shortly after his arrival on September 18,1965"My dear Lord Krishna…How will I make them understand this message of Krishna consciousness? I am very unfortunate, unqualified, and the most fallen. Therefore I am seeking Your benediction so that I can convince them, for I am powerless to do so on my own…I am sure that when this transcendental message penetrates their hearts, they will certainly feel enlightened and thus become liberated from all unhappy conditions of life…" Twelve years later, on November 14,1977, Swami Bhaktivedanta Prahupad passed away in Vridavana in India at the age of eighty-one. In twelve years Swami Bhaktivedanta had amazingly accomplished his huge mission and today hardly, there is any country in the world where Iskcon is not flourishing well and for that entire credit goes to him. His books on Bhagwatam & Krishna consciousness are a living monument for him. Let us join to pay our humble obeisance to His lotus feet and pay our respectful homage to him who represents himself to be an ideal saint!
