Bishwa Nath Singh:

It 's my thought for the day that I would like to share with everybody. The above Picture is of Prabhu Ram & Sita of their marriage ceremony. They are widely known as an idle couple whom all of us hold them in a very great esteem. As per holy epics, Ram and Sita are the ideal coupleThe cherished princess Sita married Ram with great expectations, but these were shattered. Firstly, she had to spend her youth in the jungles with her husband, to maintain his image and pr...estige. But far from appreciating her supreme sacrifices for his sake, at the end the same husband accused her of being a fallen woman and sentenced her to a solitary existence in the jungles again, this time all alone. The fact that his loving wife was pregnant at the time, that she was carrying his twin children at that time did little to deter Ram or make him retract his 'punishment'. A crueler fate awaited Sita, however. To prove himself a great king, Ram made Sita walk on fire, as an act of purification for her suspected adultery, deserted her in deep jungles and refused to see his own children Lav and Khush for years. Ultimately, even the indomitable will of the great Sita was broken. At last, when she couldn't bear the unjust and cruel treatment meted out by her own husband anymore, she called on mother earth to accept her. And the standard myth maintains that Sita was swallowed up by earth, never to be seen again. That was the sad and unfortunate end of her so-called ideal marriage. Almost every Indian parent knows this story and yet they wish their daughters to have a husband like Ram. Though, it appears strange but such is the power of popular myth and folklore, it clouds over our judgment, not letting wiser counsel prevail. Everybody hold Lord Ram and His spouse Sita in a very great esteem and love them very mush because of their fondest love for each other.Let us join to pay our humble obeisance to the lotus feet of Prabhu Ram & His spouse Goddess Sita to seek their bliss for well-being of all living-being of this universe!====================================================================
