The grateful nation remembers Rajiv Gandhi, the seventh Prime Minister of India very fondly on his twentieth death anniversary that falls today ,the 21st of May 2011. He was the youngest Prime Minister of India who became Prime Minister at the age of forty Rajiv Gandhi came from a family that had great political lineage.. As a Prime... Minister, he had made a valuable contribution in modernizing Indian administration. He had the vision and foresight to see that information technology will play a key role in the twenty first century and worked actively to develop India's capacity in this realm and played a key role in the introduction of computers in India. Let us pay our respectful homage and floral tribute to him!

Let us join to pay our respectful homage and floral tribute to this great son of our motherland who had distinction to serve our motherland as the Prime Minister of India from October 31, 1984 to December 2, 1989 had also served as Union Mi...nister of External Affairs from October 31, 1984 to September 25,1985 and from July 25,1987 to June 25,1988. Union Minister of Finance from January 24, 1987 to July 25, 1987 and Union Minister of Defense from September 25,1985 to January 24,1987 and had distinction to be the youngest Prime Minister of India who became Prime Minister at the age of forty ! He was posthumously awarded the highest National Award of India, Bharat Ratna in 1991.
