Bajpayee should have ben awarded Bharat Ratna as flashed by me on the f.b. on Nov.20,2010

Atal Bihari Vajpayee who was born on the 25th of December 1924 in Gwalior is an undisputed a great living statesman of the world who was the eleventh Prime Minister from the 16 th May 1996 to 1st June 1996 & fourteenth Prime Minister of India from 19 th March 1998 to 22nd May 2004 ..During his Premiership, he n...ot only tried but succeeded in connecting all the cities of our country from one another by Road and tried his best to provide clean administration in the country. In May 1998, India conducted five underground nuclear tests in Pokhran, Rajasthan. During his period, he had introduced many important economic and infrastructural reforms domestically including, encouraging the private sector and foreign investments; reducing governmental waste; encouraging research and development and privatizing of some government owned corporations. He is a great Poet besides being a man of letters with full of passion & wisdom. He has been a bachelor and a great statesman besides being a mass leader having command over his oratory. He tried his best to establish a good rapport with both US & Pakistan. He served as a Member of Parliament from Lucknow until 2009, and has since retired from active politics. Let us all join to wish him good health and urge very sincerely to the Union Govt. of India to honor him with the highest civilian award of Bharat Ratna that he deserves the most!
