‎'Hare Krishna' is the mantra very popular all over the world. His Divine Grace A C Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupad ,founder of ISKON - International Society for Krishna Consciousness is held in great esteem all over the universe for sprea...ding awareness of this mantra world wide. George Harrison, the popular singer of world famous Beatles group also devoted his entire life in spreading the awareness about this mantra. This mantra is known as the Maha-mantra of Kailyug (the supreme mantra of Kaliyug - the present era of machine where truth and righteousness are at their lowest level. ) It has been said that by repeating this mantra with faith and devotion, one can attain salvation and peace of mind. As per our ancient mythology, Lord Krishna is known widely as the eighth reincarnation of Lord Vishnu who is one of the most popular amongst Gods. Tradition holds that Krishna had seen Vishnu in his vision in which He had told Lord Krishna to destroy Kansa son of a demon, a tyrannical ruler of the world. Krishna's mother, Devaki, was Kansa's half-sister. Kansa already killed her first six sons because he had been told one of her sons would kill him. Krishna' brother, Devaki's seventh child, Balarama was miraculously saved by Lord Vishnu. Krishna was also saved when exchanged by his parents for the daughter of a herdsman Nanda and his wife Yasoda (the daughter was also a divine being, an incarnation of Maya). With his foster parents Krishna spent a happy life playing boyish pranks and seducing the Gopis (cow girls) and other rustic maidens. They found his flute playing adding to his charming personality.. The legend has that Lord Krishna had sixteen thousand wives. He had a fondest love for Radha, a cowheard’s girl from Barsane his childhood lover, although they did not marry. According to legend Krishna was not only divine, but heroic as well. He is alleged to have defeated numerous dragons and monsters, and eventually as predicted, killed his maternal uncle the tyrannical king Kansa. In the epic poem 'Mahabharata' he helped the Pandavas against the Kauravas, two families in contention. In the poem Krishna is depicted as divine. Also in the poem he delivers his celebrated oration 'Bhagavad-Gita' on duty and life to the troubled Hero Arjuna, for whom he had acted as a charioteer, on the eve of the decisive Kurukshetra battle of Mahabharat. His deliberations had persuaded Warrior Arjuna that it was right to fight against his kinsmen. Let us join to pay our humble obeisance to the lotus feet of Lord Krishna and chant this mantra with great devotion!

MEREA KHAANHA JI...

Kaushal Bansal :
Some good can happen only if God showers his grace ? 1- Maharajshri : “God is kind, he showers his grace on everyone, but the living being has become crazed for worldly pleasures. How can he seek shelter under God’s grace ? 2- He is like a dr...unkard who says, ‘Do not think that I am drunk. I can understand everything,’ or like a madman who insists that he is not a lunatic. The state of a person intoxicated with worldly pleasures is similar to this. 3- If someone tries to explain things, he argues. He thinks that spirituality is an intellectual exercise. If a spiritual discussion is taking place somewhere, he does not even venture in that direction. If some saint comes to his house, he walks out of his own house. Can such a person ever seek the shelter of God’s grace ?”=Guru tatwa Shivom Tirth .
