Bishwa Nath Singh :
Sri Sathya Sai Baba was hospitalized at Sri Sathya Sai Institute of Higher Medical Sciences at Ananatpur near his ashram Puttaparthi of Andhra Pradesh in India since the 28th of March2011 and reportedly had been on his life support sys...tems to regulate his breathing and had been undergoing dialysis. Going by the rush of devotees and also the number of VVIPs thronging to catch a glimpse of the late Sri Sathya Sai Baba, the administration of Anantpur has decided to extend the time of darshan till midnight of the 26th of April 2011.The burial of the body will, however, take place between 9:00 A.M. and 9:30 A.M. today on the 27th of April 2011 as per Hindu rites. The last rites of Sri Sathya Sai Baba will be a private affair; no devotees will be allowed to witness it as announced lately. Earlier, there was confusion whether the spiritual leader will be buried at the Yajur Nilayam or the Sai Kulwant hall. However, after consultation with experts, including those who are well versed with Vaastu, it was decided that the funeral will be held at the Sai Kulwant hall.Sathya Sai Baba at his ashram at Puttaparthi of Andhra Pradesh in India where his dead body will be given Samadhi by burring it amidst chanting of Ved Mantras and his favorite devotional songs at the exact spot from where he used to give darshan (glimpse) to his devotees. A mausoleum will be erected at the same place following the burial. Sri Sathya Sai Baba had lived and died unto the motto of His life being the service to man is service to God. Perhaps, it is what going to be engraved on His Samadhi-Sthal ( memorial place)after giving Samadhi and burial of His dead body. One as who will succeed Him will be decided in the trustees meeting to be held after His burial as per Hindu riots by trustees themselves.by setting aside all confusion. He was a great saga, of modern era besides being a great social-reformist and champion for cause of humanity widely loved and adored by over billions of His disciples and followers. It’s only due to this reason that he He had His followers in over one hundred countries of the world and as much as Prime Minister of India, UPA Chairperson,a fleet of Governors and Chief Ministers of various states of India visited His Ashram to have last glimpse of His dead body. He will be given State funeral and many states will close down their offices and keep their national flag half mast on their buildings on this eve to condole His passing away as mark of respect to Him!
