We should respect every good/great/godly men because we learn many good/religious/spiritual teachings from these respectable and great men. But there vis a lot of difference between God and godly men. With due respect for all great men of e...very religion, I believe (that is my belief) that GOD is one and only HE is the vsupreme power. HE (GOD) is the Power house of this Universe and all human are lights of different voltage. When a bulb or tube is fused the light vanishers and there is a darkness i.e. DEATH.

Sd Sharma :
If we wish, and have good Sanskar (Habits) we can respect/worship our parents/elders/respectables of our religion and society like a Bhagwan or God. If we believe them Bhagwan/God Nobody can challenge our faith. But fact is fact. All Humen other than GOD are great, godly, respectable, religious, spiritual.

One of India's most revered spiritual leaders with following of kings and commoners alike, Sri Sathya Sai Baba of Puttaparthi of Andhra Pradesh of India who had passed away on Sunday the 24th of Aprril 2011 morning at 7:40 am of cardio-respiratory failure at the Sri Sathya Sai Institute of Higher Medical Sciences here while he was eighty five who was given Mahassmadhi at Sai Kulwant Hall of Puttaparthi in the forenoon of April 27,2011..His death was announced at 10.15 am by hospital director Dr A N Safaya, who said, "Bhagwan Sri Sathya Sai Baba is no more with us physically. He left his earthly body on April 24, 2011, at 7.40 am due to cardio-respiratory failure." He was admitted to the hospital twenty eight days ago with cardiac problems and his condition deteriorated with many of his organs failing.Sai’s dead body was shifted to Sri Kulwant Hall in Prasanthi Nilayam (the highest abode of peace) at 3:00P.M where Sathya Sai Baba used to deliver his discourses and used to meet devotees daily for over four decades in the past. The saffron-robed Sathya Sai Baba had a huge following, with ashrams in over one hundred twenty six countries and Indian devotees including high-placed politicians, movie stars, well reputed athletes, cricketers and industrialists. He was said to perform miracles, conjuring rings, watches and "vibhuti" - a sacred ash that his followers applied on their foreheads - from his overgrown and unkempt afro-style hair. It’s true that a few rationalist critics had led campaigns against him, calling him a charlatan and his miracles fake. Several news reports also alleged that he had committed sexual abuse against devotees - allegations he denied as vilification campaigns. The high officials and celebrities expressed shock and great sadness at the guru's passing away and remembering him as a "great pious personality" who worked selflessly to help others.Sri Satya Sai Baba was a great spiritual leader who had inspired millions to lead a moral and meaningful life, even as they followed the religion of their choice, Prime Minister of India Dr.Man Mohan Singh said in a statement. His death is "an irreparable loss to all, and the nation deeply mourns his passing away."He was born on Nov. 23, 1926, as Sathyanarayana Raju at Puttaparthi. He was said as a child to display a tendency toward spirituality and unusual intelligence, which he expressed through music, dance and writing poetry and plays. In 1940, at the age of 14, he declared himself an reincarnation, of another Hindu holy man called the Sai Baba of Shirdi, a town in western Maharashtra state, who had died in 1918.As the young guru attracted followers, his home of Puttaparti grew from a sleepy village into a vibrant town with the sprawling "Prasanthi Nilayam" ashram built in 1950, as well as a large hospital, a university and schools run by his Satya Sai Central Trust, set up in 1972 with donations from devotees. The trust - estimated to be worth at least $8.9 billion and possibly much more - also established spiritual centers in the cities of Mumbai, Hyderabad and Chennai. It built another hospital in Bangalore, where Sai Baba had a summer home, and funded water supply projects in several southern states.Though no successor has been named to run the trust, it has assured "there is or will be no vacuum," according to a recent statement released after the guru was given Mahasmadhi on Wednesday, the 27th of April 2011 at Kulwant Hall of Prasanthi Nilayam with full state honor duly attended by a fleet of eminent politicians, officials, Governors and Chief Ministers besides a crowd of nearly five lakh of his devotees who bade him farewell with tears in their eyes. The whole pocess of His Mahasmadhi was gone through by Hindu Priests and other saintly persons drawn from various religion that lasted for nearly three hours and He was laid to rest shortly before noon of THE 27TH OF April 2011. His last rites were performed by his nephew R.J. Ratnakar amidst chanting of Vedic mantras "The body was lowered in the pit and filled with `Kuruskshetra' matti (soil), salt, silver, gold and navaratnas." The rituals of His Mahasmadhi was carried out in the forenoon of vApril 27,2011 by eighteen priests headed by Kandukoori Kondavadhani from Rajahmundry in Andhra Pradesh. They were joined by priests from Kashi and nine other peethas across the country. The last rites wa performed by R J Ratnakar, Baba's nephew and an integral part of the Sri Sathya Sai Baba Central Trust as per Hindu rituals with great santity and devotion. With all efforts in place to carry out the rites on par with stringent Hindu tradition, the process was included with all elements of nature in the form of Saptha Nadi (seven rivers), navaratna (nine gems), navadaana (giving of nine gifts) and sugandha dravya (perfumeries). Water from the sacred rivers of Narmada, Sindhu, Cauvery, Godavari, Ganga and Jamuna also were brought and sprinkled on the dead body of Sathya Sri Sai Baba by his nephew R.J.Ratnakar with solemn dignity. His health that had wooed over recent years had forced Sri Sathya Sai Baba to cut down on public appearances. He survived a stroke and a series of heart attacks in 1963. In 2005, he began using a wheelchair, and a year later he fractured his hip when a student fell from a stool onto the Guru. Sri Sathya Sai Baba was also mired in controversies, with several news reports about allegations of sexual abuse and fake miracles. A 2004 television program by the British Broadcasting Corporation called the "Secret Swami" featured interviews with at least two American male devotees claiming the guru had fondled their genitals and exposed himself to them while claiming it was part of a healing ritual. Though he denied the allegations and was never charged with any crime, the reports led some to break with the Guru. The ashram also said Sai Baba had survived an attempt against his life, with six devotees including the guru's personal assistant killed in his bedroom in June 1993 after allegedly trying to attack him. Facts of the case still remain a mystery. Sri Sathya Sai Baba had remained bachelor all throughout his life.He was a great saga of modern era and was considered as an incarnation of His Holiness Sathya Sai Ram of Shirdi as a godly man known for his passion and wisdom.Though, He is not physically present in this worldly earth but his teachings and good deeds will always remind of His presence in our heart and He will be remembered and cherished for long. He often uses to lay emphasis that there is only one religion, the religion of love. There is only one caste, the caste of humanity. There is only one language, the language of the heart. There is only one God, He is omnipresent. These versions speak of His mind and that could be of a godly person who felt spreading of love and unity amongst all irrespective of their caste, religion and faith. It is time to resolve to carry out His legacy very truthfully by being good and doing well to others without showing sign of any lust as selfless service for cause of humanity.Let us join to pay our humble obeisance to His lotus feet and respectful homage & floral tribute to Him who will always remain close to our heart leading us on the path of glory!
