A homage and floral tribute to great Sanskrit Scholar of olden era Kalidas as flashed on the f.b. on April 28,2011.

Kalidas was a great scholar of India of olden era who is still remembered for his great contribution in writing 'Kumarasambhava' and 'Raghuvamsha' who are his two epic poems. 'Malavikagnimitra', 'Vikramorvashiya' and 'Abhijnana Shakuntala' are being his celebrated plays. 'Meghaduta' and 'Ritusamhara' are also being his poetical works of great distinction.

It's the Picture of the great scholar of olden era Kalidas who will be always remembered for his scholarly works. He was one of the greatest poets and dramatists in Sanskrit. His chronicle of the kings of the Raghu clan ('Raghuvamsha'), the... great play 'Shakuntala' and other works depict, through many great characters, the highest ideals of life as seen by the ancient people of our country.Let us join to pay our humble obeisance to his lotus feet and seek his bliss for well-being of all living-being of this universe!
