A homage to Mahtama Gandhi by me as flashed on the f.b. on Nov.10,2010

Bishwa Nath Singh :
Mahatma Gandhi was a man of integrity who believed in simple living with high thoughts and lived unto them all throughout his life. His ideals of truth and non-violence are well known to the world that he lived and practiced unto them all throughout his life. He was a man of integrity with full of passion and wisdom ...in him. He had very rightly said once that he has nothing new to teach to the world. The truth and non-Violence are as old as the hills. Mahatma Gandhi had a very large heart and great soul that has epitomized the meaning of a man who was possibly the greatest human being of the twentieth century and of preset era that had ever seen in the history of mankind. The ultimate one which all of us loved in Gandhi Ji was his inner integrity and patrotism.

Bishwa Nath Singh :
The autobiography of Mahatma Gandhi bears a testimony that he had his own curiosity and willingness of accepting his own fault & negative things of his life that are itself a very great virtue that we can see in him. Though, it is uncom...mon and difficult for others but he felt pleasure sharing all his faults & negative things in his autobiography. One will admire that he always believed in truth and non-violence that he preached and practiced himself. Gandhi Ji is of course a legendry figure but he looked like any other human being but even though people called him a Mahatma(means holy saint) and that is the greatest beauty of his great personality. Though, he had never considered himself as a great saintly person but still the grateful nation honored him with title Mahatma. He was such a humble man that he had the courage to talk about his weaknesses in his book "My Experiment with Truth" and that is a living testimony of his greatness. We should admire all these qualities that Bapu had possessed and imbibe them in our life to make them blissful. One will recall that .Gandhi Ji when he want to abroad in U.K. for his higher studies. His mother being an orthodox Hindu was very much scared of her son about his life there regarding maintenance of purity and good conduct .Knowing his mother's ordeal, Gandhi Ji had promised to his loving mother that he will never drink nor smoke and will maintain purity and integrity and have good conduct there. We are extremely happy to note that he lived unto those commitments. One would fully agree with me that such men are rarely born and seen on this worldly earth and that is the reason that he is still adored by over thousand of billions of people all over the world even today though he went to heavenly abode over sixty one years ago. Let us pay our homage to tat great saint who is known as the father of our nation whom we affectionately call Bapu! Let us join to pay our humble obeisance's to the lotus feet of Bapu and seek His bliss for well-being of all living-being of this universe!
