A homage to my father by me as flashed on the f.b. on Nov.13,2010

Bishwa Nath Singh :
Though, we are living in space age, but the greatest tragedy one comes across that our present generation has started neglecting their Parents very badly who had nurtured and groomed them without caring for their own care & comforts. It has been our tradition to shower all our love & affection to old people ,infirm ...and women as whole but the concept has changed now and we find everything in reverse order. Whether one travels by train or bus, it is almost seen every now & then that no body cares for the comforts of old people, infirm & women.Can't we bring enormous change in our outlook?It is time that our present generation should correct themselves in their behavior and attitude towards their Parents and shower all love ,affection and respect on them so that they could be called their blessed children.

Bishwa Nath Singh;
 Here is the Portrait of my father who had left for heavenly abode nearly twenty five years ago but his reminisces are very much alive and fresh in my heart about his great qualities and love towards poor & needy. I adore him the most and offer my humble obeisance’s to his lotus feet.

 3 peopleAravind Pandey, Christine Williams and John Monteiro like this..

John Monteiro:  Give respect to parents, dont demand it for ourselves ... we will earn respect ... as parents in our turn ... but nowadays the word "respect" has been demoted to almost nothing, its a demand .... not earned and does mean the same thing anymore ... it is a shame on us and the next generation ....
