Let us pay our homage to Nehru & celebrate Children's Day as envisaged & flashed on the f.b on Nov.14,2010

The grateful nation will pay its homage to its first Prime Minister Pandit Jawahar Lal Nehru who served the nation in that capacity for over seventeen years and was called architect of modern India In his lifetime, he had enjoyed an iconic status in India and was widely admired across the world for his idealism and sta...tesmanship. He had a towering personality and a great statesman. His birthday the 14 of November, is celebrated in India as Baal Divas (Children's Day) in recognition of his life long passion, devotion and work for the welfare, education and development of children and youth.. The children across India and in India too remember him as Chacha Nehru (Uncle Nehru).Let us pay our most respectful homage to Pandit Nehru whose Birth anniversary falls tomorrow on the 14th of November and pledge to help celebrating Children’s day with great festivity and success and strive hard to establish good rapport with others based on everlasting friendship so that we can live in peace and make our nation very strong.!

Pandit Jawahar Lal Nehru loved children immensely and they call him affectionately as Chacha Nehru. His Birth Day is observed as Children's Day. He believed that children are the future of the nationHe was an architect of modern India.He... had played a major role in shaping modern India's Government and political culture along with sound foreign policy. He is widely cherished and praised for creating a system providing Universal Primary Education, reaching children in the farthest corners of rural India. Nehru's education policy is also credited for the development of world-class educational institutions such as the All India Institute of Medical Sciences Indian Institutes of Technology and the Indian Institutes of Management.Besides , Pandit Nehru's stance as a unfailing nationalist led him to also implement policies that had stressed commonality among Indians while still appreciating regional diversities.Let us pay our humble obeisances to his lotus feet and floral tribute to him!
