While addressing a joint press conference at the Hyderabad House, New Delhi in the afternoon of Monday, the 8th of November 2010 after holding official talks, and US President Barack Obama & Prime Minister of India Dr. Man Mohan Singh had v...ery categorically stated that both the countries US & India have decided to expand cooperation in the fields of Space, Technology, Health and Agriculture. They reaffirmed their commitment to take relations between the two countries to the next level. It also highlighted that India is not afraid of talks with Pakistan. India cannot be talking at the same time and simultaneously the terror machine is active as ever before in Pakistan. India is committed to resolving all problems with Pakistan but simultaneously Pakistan should ensure that it moves away from terror-induced coercion. We will be happy to engage productively. We have decided to facilitate people-of-people contact; they will start a new homeland security dialogue. We have shared vision of security in the region and they will go on to strengthen efforts to tackle global nuclear proliferation and terrorism. Protectionism is detrimental to both nations and discussions between US President & Indian Prime Minister have led to a meeting of minds and a evolution of a shared vision. It would not be out of place to mention that US President Barack Obama and his spouse Mrs. Michelle Obama,the first lady of US have won hearts of Indian People by their simplicity and concern about welfare of both the inhabitants of US & India and their determination & untiring efforts to maintain bilateral relations most cordially.
