Let us convey our heartiest greetings to all children of this world and wish them all the best in their long & happy life on the eve of Children's Day that India celebrates today on the 14th of November to commemorate Birth Anniversary of Our first Prime Minister of India Pandit Jawahar Lal Nehru who had served India a...s the Prime Minister for seventeen years right from the 15th of August 1947 to the 27th of May 1964 till he died who had special fascination for children all throughout his life! Children's day in India is celebrated on Pandit Nehruji's birthday from his life time as a day of fun and frolic, a celebration of childhood, children and Nehruji's love for them. As a tribute to Nehru's love for children,his birthday is celebrated all over India as Children's Day.
