The fourth day of Navratri is very much dedicated to the fourth form of Goddess Durga known as Goddess Kushmanda who represents the source of providing basic necessities to all of us living in this universe. This form of Goddess Durga is said to be the creator of the universe

Bishwa Nath Singh:
People usually wear Blue/ White/ Saffron color attire on this day. In this form. Goddess Durga is eight-armed and rides on a tiger. She holds Kamandalu (Water Pot), bow, arrow, lotus, pot containing wine, disc, rosary and a club. She is ve...ry happy in this form and it is believed that the eternal darkness ended when she smiled. And this led to the beginning of creation. Kushmanda form of Durga is worshipped on fourth day of Navratri.Let us join to pay our humble obeisance to Her lotus feet and seek Her bliss for well-being of this universe!
