The severe earthquake and tsunami of March 11,2011 in Japan has brought enormous loss of both human-beings and revenues besides Nuclear Safety to the forefront again.

In the Fukushima Daiichi plant of Japan three explosions had occurred that have caused alarm that the reactors may release radioactive emissions into the atmosphere. The reactors have a core consisting of fuel rods which, on the nuclear re...action, emit heat. The heat is used to generate steam, which runs a turbine and generates electricity. Though, they have been trying to cool it but still success in full has not been achieved though their experts and engineers are struggling hard to prevent release of radioactive emissions into the atmosphere. Let us pray for their success in their venture!
