The Wankhede Stadium at Mumbai in India will be full to capacity with over thirty three thousand spectators, the vast majority of whom will be cheering for India and its star player Sachin Tendulkar, who is seeking a first World Cup win in six attempts. Even ICC chief executive Horoon Lorgat said last week that it would be a "fairy tale ending" if Tendulkar posted his hundred international hundred in the final at his home ground.

"We have to understand the fact that India for the last year or two years has been tagged as the favorites by almost everyone to win the World Cup as s revealed by him. We are happy that this final match at Mumbai will be watched by both the President of India and Sri Lanka besides several Union Ministers of India & Sri Lanka,, many dignitaries and fleet of celebrities to cheer up the cricket players playing the match. The players of both the countries are very matured and composed and know their role as true sportsman very well. Out of these two teams, one team that wins will bag the ICC World Cup after the match is over and one who plays the best will be honored with the award of man of the match. Certainly, this game will help resolving outstanding problems facing both the countries during both the President's meet!
