Third form of Goddess Durga is Chandraghanta that is worshipped today as flashed by me on the f.b on October 10,2010.

Goddess Durga is worshipped in many different forms. She is a form of PowerThe evolution of Saraswati, Laxmi and Mahakali-three main forms of Power( In Hindi Shakti) took place from Lord Brahma, LordVishnu and Lord Mahesh respectively. Each of these three deities gave rise to three more forms and hence in all, these n...ine forms together are known as Nav Durga.Today is the third day of Nav Ratri. The third form of Shakti is Maa Chandraghanta is worshipped on the third day of Navratri, bearing the crescent moon on her forehead, having ten arms and three eyes. She is of a golden complexion and has an aggressive posture showing readiness for war. She wears a necklace of bells, which terrifies demons. She rides a tiger and protects devotees.This particular aspect of the Goddess gives extreme peace and bestows ultimate good. Chandra + Ghanta, meaning supreme bliss and knowledge, showering peace and serenity, like cool breeze in a moonlit night. Let us join to pay our humble obeisance's to Her lotus feet and seek Her bliss!

Bishwanath Singh The holy mother Chandragantha is seen in this Photograph who is the third form of the Goddess and she represents bravery. She is depicted as having three eyes and ten hands, each one bearing a different type of weapon. Her skin is golden colour and the sound of her bell terrifies demons as well as all enemies. Let us pay our humble obeisance's to Her lotus feet and seek Her bliss for well-being of all living-being of this universe!
