The US President Barack Obama who is on visit to India from the 6th of November 2010 while addressing joint session of Parliament in the Central Hall in the afternoon of Monday, the 8th November 2010 had kept every one attending that sessio...n spell bound because of his charismatic address wining hearts of Indian People at large had very categorically announced that he has backed India's bid to obtain permanent membership of the United Nations Security Council. In a speech, US President Barack Obama had said that he looked forward to a reformed UN Security Council that includes India as a permanent member Our country has been lobbying for a fixed seat on the UN's highest body for years, a reflection of the Asian country's growing global weight and its challenge to rival China. Certainly, it is attributed that a seat on the Security Council of United Nations would reflect the importance of the G20 nation as its trillion dollar economy helps spur global growth and its government exerts increasing influence over issues from Doha trade to climate change talks. Obama said in his speech on his first official visit to the world's largest democracy that let him suggest that with increased power comes increased responsibility This is a defining moment in bilateral relationship in between US & India. It is for the first time the United States is actively backing India whom US considers at a super power in this world whose identity can’t be denied by others.Let us join to cherish Barack Obama,US President & his spouse Michille Obama, the first lady of US visit to India and wish the bilateral relation in between India & US based on mutual respect & understanding a success!
