Bishwa Nath Singh : The decision of NATO on March 27,2011 which could take up to seventy two hours to implement, puts the twenty eight member military alliance in charge of operations to target Muammar Gaddafi’s military infrastructure and protect civilians,... as well as implementing a no-fly zone and an arms embargo.“Nato allies have decided to take on the whole military operation in Libya under the United Nations Security Council resolution,” said Secretary General Anders Fogh Rasmussen.Libyan rebels pushed further west today to retake more territory abandoned by Muammar Gaddafi’s retreating forces, which have been weakened by western air strikes.Let us hope and pray that the grave crisis that Libya is facing these days will come to its halt soon!
