Bishwa Nath singh: It is a lovely Picture of Lord Ganesh that has been chosen to be displayed on the auspicious eve of Ganesh Chaturdashi by a great devotee that we celebrate on the 11th of September 2010 with great fervor. Let us join to pay our humble obeisance to the lotus feet of Lord Ganesh who is remembered as healer of our wounds whether physical or mental or both and seek His bliss for well-being of all living-being of this universe! I hasten to convey my heartiest greetings and humble wishes to all my friends,relations ad well-wishers once again on this auspicious eve of all three important festivals that we have today i.e. Ganesh Chaturdashi, Eid-Ul- Fitr and "Teej" of course ( "Teej" is being celebrated by married ladies for well-being of their husband by remaining on complete fast for a day & night in remembrance of Goddess Parvati who had gone under both physical & mental penance for many years to please Lord Shiva to win Him over to be Her spouse again. It is very popular festival that is celebrated with great devotion by married ladies mostly in Bihar ,Jharkhand & Uttar Pradesh States of our country).

On this eve, I convey my heartiest greetings to my friends on the eve of Eid-Ul- Fitr too. I shall be failing in my duty if I do not pay my compliments to all married ladies who go under both physical & mental penance for over a day & night without taking food & drink to offer their prayers for well-being of their husband that is very popular festival known as “Teej” in Bihar, Jharkhand , Uttar Pradesh & Uttranchal States of our country.
